A Missouri native and baritone, Theron LePage is pursuing a graduate degree in vocal performance at Mannes School of Music this fall. He recently appeared in Opera in the Ozark’s production of Bizet’s Carmen. Further, he has performed in Ozarks Lyric Opera’s production of Rachel Portman’s The Little Prince, Aaron Copeland’s The Tender Land, and Ruggero Leoncavallo’s Pagliacci.

Look out for Theron in his upcoming return to Opera in the Ozarks at Inspiration Point where he will feature in Candide, and Gianni Schicchi.

Eager to collaborate with other artists, Theron was the featured baritone soloist in the Springfield Symphony Orchestra’s performance of Britten’s Rejoice in the Lamb. Further, he embraced other concert solo opportunities including Haydn’s Lord Nelson Mass (Southwest Baptist University), Faure’s Requiem (Normandy Festival Choir, France), and J.S. Bach’s cantata Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme (Queen City Chorale).

Theron was a frequent soloist with the Missouri State University (MSU) Choral Studies Program, appearing with the MSU Chorale, Men’s Chorus, Gospel Choir, and Chamber Choir. His experiences with performing in the program has afforded him unique opportunities including singing on a commercially-released album entitled Radiance Untethered: The Choral Music of John Wykoff. Throughout his tenure in the MSU Choral Studies Program, Theron enjoyed singing around the world including performances throughout North and South America, Asia, and Europe.

He has enjoyed recent success in local, regional, and national singing competitions including the 2024 National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS), placing 2nd in the nation in his category. Theron was also a finalist in the Musical Theatre Scenes Division of the 2023 National Opera Association Conference.

When Theron isn’t singing, you may find him teaching, traveling, playing chess, enjoying the company of his friends and family, and supporting his favorite soccer team, Chelsea FC.
